The food is very tasty, but the service is at a low level, very slow, we waited for our dish for an hour,
Old Galla's: Clean plates, greasy floor. New Galla's: Clean floor, greasy plates. Pizza beats the chains and was baked just right. Though, not particularly memorable. If you've never been to Galla's, the pizza is square cut. Not slices. Let them know when ordering if you want slices. Main complaints: Waiter reeked of stale cigarette smoke and was unfamiliar with toppings; Beer price used to be under $3. No longer. Price is not on the menu. Are they embarrassed? They really are trying & appear to have survived COVID. They since have changed owners and gone disappointingly downhill. We recently visited again and shall not be returning. While cleaned up a bit, it now sells itself as a sports bar with loud audio and monitors each sporting different mindless content covering all walls pretty much guaranteeing no ability to think one's own thoughts.
