Horrible person. Deliberately used tactics to hurt me as a mother who has PTSD. The petitioner didn’t even rehire her. The lawyers I’ve counseled with now say she’s a “real peach” and believe our first matter should have went a lot better and financially didn’t need to be so expensive or so rigorous of a matter. The courts want what’s best for the child, she is worried about how she is going to eat.
Learn from my mistake and keep looking.
She likes to rack up fees for everyone involved- She's a bully, Working with her is like trying to light a fire underwater. Impossible. She seems to take things to a personal level and bully the other lawyer into submission, which if the other lawyer is willing to hold ground ends up in a dragged out divorce with costly lawyer fees for everyone.
My experience with Susan is nothing like any of the couple negative reviews I saw here. I was referred to her and she handled my divorce (as the respondent) swiftly and efficiently, even with an uncooperative and disorganized counterparty. I have and will continue to recommend her any and all family law.
