As administrator for a Union Plus Life Insurance policy through The Hartford, since they took over it has been one mess after another; bills don't arrive, the beneficiaries that I designated before their takeover are not even on file, policy docs have yet to be uploaded to the website. Contacting The Hartford about who that have turned the business over to.
I give them a zero, no star rating if I could. The billing is a total mess. I,m often billed for premiums that I already paid, then I have to spend a hour on the phone with them to straighten it out . I actually had to send them a screenshot of some banking documents to prove I already paid and they still keep screwing up due dates and billing cycle. Union Plus was a gem until these screw ups took it over. I believe I'll be contacting my state attorney Generals office soon.
