Jacob and his boss, Chris, were fantastic! My husband is very adept at canoeing but I am a beginner. Jacob and Chris knew I was afraid of tipping, which I've done before, so together they steadied the canoe so I could get in with no problem. At the end of the (fun!) canoe run, Jacob was there to pull the canoe onto the dock. I highly recommend them for their excellent customer service!
The bikes were dirty and old. Brakes did not work well. Tires needed air. Worst part was the saddle. One bike was completely unrideable because it hurt too much, even less than a minute it was very painful. 3 different riders. In the party agreed. The bikes looked like they were picked from a dumpster. The poor condition of the bikes ruined the experience. Three days later I am still experiencing back and butt pain. Beautiful setting and path.
Awesome and attentive hosts. Great equipment and solid guidance and assistance. If you want to canoe in Galena this is the place!
