Andy and his crew couldn't have been better. Very knowledgeable, professional and fun. Our family had an absolute blast
I took a hot air balloon ride and it was amazing. There was 7 of us that were supposed to go on Friday but the ride was canceled due to wind. I was fortunate to get the one open seat for the Saturday ride and so my friends said I should go. It was so peaceful, enjoyable and beautiful. I would go again. The pilot and the crew were so kind and helpful. If you get a chance take the flight, you won't regret it.
My fiancé and I were gifted this hot air balloon ride for our honeymoon and we had an absolute blast! The owner and pilot was amazing! I was thoroughly surprised with how warm and calm the weather up in the sky was! My fiancé isn’t the biggest fan of heights and even he enjoyed the trip! We had champagne and chocolates afterwards and it was an absolute blast! I cannot recommend Galena On the Fly, Inc enough!
I completely understand that this service is absolutely dependent upon the weather. But this is twice now in two weeks that I've driven an hour (of the 3 it takes to get there) just to get a text saying it's too windy. For those who don't live "close" to Galena, prepare for the probable situation that your drive and time you scheduled to take off from work to drive there, will all be a waste.
Absolutely positively the best experience. This is what makes America great — small family business that provides an unparalleled opportunity to experience a balloon ride over America heartland.
