Run as far away from this company!. We installed Coolaroo products made by this company and after dealing with them we find out they discontinued the product we installed for a client and now the product is not longer working. The product still under warranty and they replied "Warranty is prorated" with no solution to the problem but to say they are only going to prorated check of not even a third of the cost of the product where we can not afford the replacement part to fix their broken product to be able to use it.

Edit: Customer service sent me out replacement parts, and everything works again. My original review was 6 years ago, and I’m still using the same shades! Purchased one of their exterior patio shades two seasons ago from Home Depot--worked great for the ginormous heat sink of a sliding glass door in my master bedroom. Until the plastic retaining clip in the idle bracket broke, releasing the shade from that side and bending the clutch side bracket. Purchased two for lanai 15 years ago and absolutely not one problem. Open then 3-4 times daily. Works perfect. Don’t understand all the negative reviews. PS we still have them!!!
