I had used this company in the past and the service was excellent, but this time not so much. They just wanted my money and didn't fix the issue. Apparently the service tech didn't know what he was doing. When he came back out he said I needed a new motherboard and it would be $800! I paid for new sensors at $200 plus and still not working. Not happy at all. At the least they could send out an experienced tech.
Its sad but we were quoted way high... we didn't want to use their service, the technician was hesitant leaving our home so much so my mom was feeling u comfortable... I stayed on the phone till he left... of course asked 20 bucks for driving and giving us a bogus quote. We had another guy come out and fix it for 1/4 the price.
Really disappointed with the customer service I received from Galaxy Garage Doors Repairs. I reached out via their website to request info about installing a new pedestrian gate, adding an addition to a current one, and servicing my garage gate. A few days went by with no response so I called during business hours. No answer. Called again 2 days later. No answer. Sent a message via Google. The response? ""Unable to service."" Office number is 90% of the time answered by a voice mail and you have to play a lot of phone tag to schedule an apptmt. Clients basically have to accomodate to the shedule/availability of their techs. After two visits from two different techs witjin the span of two weeks who both walked away from the apptmt claiming the door was fixed and ...it was not, and then also diagnosing a broad amount of things that could be wrong w my door... showed lack of expertise by not being able to pinnpoint the problem.
