I witnessed one of Galaxy Freightliner Inc.’s trucks on Highway 417 make an extremely dangerous maneuver after the driver appeared to realize he was about to miss an exit. The truck came to an almost complete stop near the gore area between the off-ramp and the highway, coming within roughly a foot of the median divider. Missing an exit is not a justification for stopping or nearly stopping a tractor-trailer in an active highway travel area.
