Kevin has worked on both my car my son's car. We both appreciate his expert work and fair pricing. I highly recommend Gaines Automotive.
Gaines is somewhere u do not want to have your car repaired at. He does not keep u up to date with anything, after having our car for 4 months he said he did 1400 worth of work and only put a transmission line and oil line in a lied about taking everything apart. He hung up on me and blamed everything on his computer system. In the end I made him refund me all my money. Not to mention left the shop and broke down then had to pay for towing.
Took my car to him late August for a strange noise under my car, fixed ignition coil and put new rear brakes I wasn't even sure I needed, but I trusted him. Told me I may have a problem with my rear axle, end of September rolls around with zero updates I called multiple times, no call back. I had to drive out there. Just picked up my car right before Christmas and the strange sounds under my car sounds worse than before. Not recommended.
Awesome experience for my Jaguar. Gaines has very fair prices & makes it easy to schedule. I feel like I found a hidden gem in Pittsboro!
Take your car here — truly!! I started hearing a knocking noise coming from my car while trying to get back to Pittsburgh, and in a bit of a panic, I called to see if they could even take a look. Within 10 minutes, I was at their shop and had my car dropped off. They squeezed me in without hesitation, and I instantly felt like I was in good hands — which means a lot, because no one has ever worked on my car besides my dad and me.
