During the last 25 years or so I have attended Mrs. Okerman's seminars, weekend retreats and private consultations. I find her services to be insightful, evidence based, compassionate and professional. Her ability to get to the heart of where pain and trauma is, has always call my attention and has been a great benefit to me and to those that I have referred to her over the years. I just typed out a fairly long, scathing comment about this woman, and I chose to go back and erase it and write something different. To be completely honest, I found Ms. Okerman to be one of the most intuitive unique and caring clinicians that I had ever met.however, I believe that Ms. Okerman, herself, suffers from some very destructive personal family dynamics and resulting mental health issues that can cause her to become very narrow minded, extremely unprofessional, and downright toxic to fragile patients who are seekin... read more
