I came here for my minimoon a couple years back and was quite disappointed. We did enjoy the wine hour and breakfast was quite good but for a boutique hotel and the price you pay, we expected a bit of a celebratory welcome or note as we had just married and came here straight after our civil ceremony in SF. On the night of arrival, we also tried watching tv and we were told we had to bring our own HDMI cable to connect to Netflix and which is insane given it was $800/night. Wow! If you are looking for a peaceful and romantic getaway there is no place more perfect than Gaige House. The attention to detail and luxury feels like a 5 star hotel without all the noise. Breakfast + mimosas, wine and sake available all day, wine and cheese boards were such a special treat, freshly baked cookies that always made my day and a new flavor of refreshing non caffeinated tea made every day. Let me begin by saying that our stay at the Gaige House was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt so warmly welcomed. The lovely lady who checked us in was absolutely wonderful—so friendly and attentive. Our new favorite 4 Sisters Inn! This Inn is so conveniently located in Glen Ellen (Sonoma). The grounds are beautiful. The mimosas on the deck in the morning became a ritual for us. The staff were wonderful and extremely accommodating! Love this place!
I really need to thank the wonderful manager and staff at the Gaige House for our extra special stay last week. We returned after 20 years for a special anniversary, and were treated to the most peaceful, huge suite along the Zen path with a bathroom that was as large as most hotel rooms.
