Woot. What an excellent place hope to volunteer for you soon. I am a hard worker but potential is wasted, well until I come volunteer for The Gaia House.
Love the Gaia House. Only place of it's kind, that I know.
Gaia House is a great place to meet people, hang out, or just relax. It is unique because it is open to people of all religious backgrounds. Many different events happen here, and you can get involved any way you want! Plus, the labyrinth out back is pretty cool, too!
This place has had such a positive impact on my life. I've made many friends here and learned more about social justice, the environment, and spirituality. It's one of the main reasons I've stayed in Carbondale!
Great history; however, the promise for safety only applies if they like you; otherwise board members are allowed to yell or intimidate you without any repercussions.
It is a haven of peace where weary sojourners (of all ages) can rest, explore who they are, and connect with many different kinds of people, with love and acceptance for all. Oh, yes, and did I mention that we are earth-friendly and seek peace and justice? Gaia House is here for you and me.
Gaia House Interfaith Center has a 4.6 star rating with 70 reviews.
