The atmosphere was decent and our waiter was pretty attentive. The thing that turned me off most about my experience was the automatic 30% gratuity that was added to my bill for a small party of 2!. Also the manager brought our bill to us before we had even received our dessert! Her reply was oh well the dessert's on the bill so it's ok. Well no problem for us, an automatic gratuity let alone a 30% one made it an easy choice not to come back here. B E W A R E – Service was great, the chef must have been out that evening and the dishwasher was cooking. The food was either over cooked or under cooked. Sending it back they returned and it was worse. Totally overpriced. You can not make up for poor quality food and cooking skills with service
Great Northern Italian food – This restaurant is very much a family affair with the wife serving as maitre d, the husband reciting the night?s specials and the son serving as our waiter. We shared a Caesar salad that was disappointing, but our pasta entrees saved the evening. Traditional Italian food prepared perfectly. – Gaetano's features a beautiful room, excellent food and great service. I have eaten there many times and would recommend it to anyone. Their risotto is to die for and they always have fantastic specials.
Superb Dinner At Gaetano's Last Night – We has a superb dinner at Gaetanos. The service was excellent and the food was the best we've had for a long time (and my partner and I eat out every night). Gaetano's – the room was beautiful, the noise level was high, the service was good, the food was dreadful, and the wine list was ridiculously over-priced. Mr. G is obviously looking for the buck and not looking to give value...as he did in the San Fernando location
