I have been to the Stratord location many a times and only had a great experience and always a good sandwich on semolina bread. This was my first rst official stop at their Westport location. The store is very small and is very busy, filled with Italian products, cold and hot items, and sanwiches to order. This is not a dine in spot. Excellent food, hospitality, and service. The owners greet all guests with friendly conversation and samples of deli meat and cheeses. There is homemade mozzarella and plentiful side dishes. The cannolis are also made from scratch and delicious!
So, we go there today and I ordered a steak and cheese with no onions or peppers and a ham and provolone with just lettuce and mayo. My husband love the steak and cheese I had a bite or two... and can say that the steak is well seasoned and was juicy and overall delicious. Then I tried to eat my ham and provolone and took a few bites and couldn't do the rest it was so enormous and I might have taken more than just two bites of that steak and cheese lol..
