I have snorkeled quite a bit and lucked into this company on the beach today - Jason welcomed me into their fold and we had the most amazing 2 hour small group snorkel. As people were done, he would show them safely back and let the rest of us continue, so no one was uncomfortable and everyone had a great experience. My family are avid swimmers and already familiar with kayaking, and I chose Gabriel’s Ohana because I really wanted to try a clear-bottom kayak. I’ll be honest—the clear kayak itself wasn’t really for me, but I’m glad I tried it and satisfied my curiosity. The real highlight came afterward, when Jason (Gabriel’s father) took everyone snorkeling. He knows the area like the back of his hand. We had a great time today with Jason and Castanza. We were a group of 10 ranging from 13 to 77 years old. They took their time helping with all of us and were extremely knowledgeable of all the wildlife and reef system. They were able to accommodate for someone in our group recovering from a fractured wrist and another with back issues by giving them the “Princess” tour and pulling them in their own kayak.
