Dr. Palma prescribed an antibiotic for an infection and told me to call her with any concerns. After getting sick and having a reaction from the antibiotic, I called her office to tell her I could not take this medicine and to call in a different one for me. Her office assured me that this would be taken care of. I never heard from her or the office. Bad this is the worst doctor I have ever seen in my life. I felt like a bother to her by coming to see her. She looked very unprofessional with clothes and hair like she just got out of bed. I told her my symptoms and she listened to my lungs and said I had bronchitis and that she would call in a antibiotic which she never did even thou it was in my chart that she had on 1/2/20 then on 1/3/20 it was out of my chart and she denied saying that I had bronchitis when I called and left a message about it. I’m a reasonable person and understand doctors run late. I’ve been here a few times now and it is minimum 30 minutes before you even get called to the exam room. Then at least another 20 minutes sitting alone in the room. I don’t know if it’s bad office management or an overbooked practice but my search for a good primary care doctor will continue...She’s not bad once you get her attention, but waiting over an hour is unacceptable in any professional field.

Dr. Palma was very unprofessional. I was supposed to have a free physical. However after she insisted I got blood work done she had tests run that ended up costing me almost $500. She never informed me that some of the tests may not be covered by insurance. When I called the office she refused to talk to me and would never call me back. I told her secretary that I was having a hard time making that payment, especially since it was all supposed to be free. She didn't do anything to try and help.

Treats patients with past addictions like drug seeking scum of the earth. Just bc a person has a troubled past does not mean they are doomed to a life of suffering at the hands of know it all people in a white coat. Just beware the ones out to judge you before anything else. Here is my warning to you, Dr Palma is by far the worst I’ve encountered.

This office hasn’t gone way down hill. There isn’t time where we wait under 45 minutes to be seen and they only have one time slot smack in the middle of the day for physicals which means I have to use an entire vacation day just for a physical. I have very low blood pressure but was getting so frustrated with the constant waiting and the rude attitudes that my blood pressure was high when they were checking it which effects my health care rewards. Go elsewhere I will be.
