Just a horrible Telehealth experience with this doctor. Without hearing me out, she gave me a definite NO and referred me to see a in-person doctor, while in the past I have had zero issues with other Telehealth doctors. Please stay away from this doctor.
I had a Teladoc visit with Aldana. Sinus infection, asked for antibiotics. She gave me a hard NO because I didn't have symptoms long enough and instead prescribed Flonase. I even mentioned that I wouldn't take them right away; if it clears up within a few days, as she SAID it would, I just wouldn't fill the prescription. I don't take medication unless it's absolutely necessary. Still told me no. And shocker, my symptoms didn't clear up and I went to an urgent care, spent $40 out of pocket to get antibiotics. It feels wrong to even give ONE star. I feel like my money was stolen. Little to no input on my condition, just that i should see an OGBYN (i told her i had seen & gotten a pap smear 2 weeks prior). Absolute no empathy. I ended that phone call crying because she wasn’t listening & seemed adamant to get finished with me as fast as she could.
Was assigned this doctor through Teladoc. After 7+ days of worsening sinus infection symptoms, I was billed and just told to take more OTC allergy medicines and go see my regular doctor. Just hang up if you are connected with her. It'll cost the same and give you the same result.
