I highly recommend Dr. Yurkanin’s practice. I have visited this office several times, and every doctor I've seen has been professional and knowledgeable. I recently saw Dr. Velez for plantar fasciitis. She prescribed a conservative treatment plan, and after months of pain, the anti-inflammatory medication and exercises are bringing relief. I've been a patient of doctor Yurkanin's for almost two years now. I would highly recommend her to anybody seeking orthopedic/podiatrist help .I have tarsal tunnel in both my feet and planner fasciatis. We are now working on the surgeries to fix and repair both feet. The doctors and the staff are very friendly and very understanding. They treat you like a person , they even remember your name.
April 6, 2025 I took a tumble and broke my fibula in 2 places. That's all I knew. Months later the doctor I was seeing did nothing more than see me for 10 minutes, shrug his shoulder and ask what I wanted to do. Frustrating to say the least. After months of him making me feel like I was crazy for not wanting to still be in pain, I had to fight for an MRI which showed torn ligaments as well. He wanted to do surgery. I felt off. Dr. Yurkanim wanted to remove my right toe. I begged her to save it. She reattached my toe and put 8 pins into my big toe and into toe next to it. After one month of care at manercare nursing home my toe was saved. It is over a decade later and my balance and ability to get up on my feet and walk is mind settling. Yaakov
