April 6, 2025 I took a tumble and broke my fibula in 2 places. That's all I knew. Months later the doctor I was seeing did nothing more than see me for 10 minutes, shrug his shoulder and ask what I wanted to do. Frustrating to say the least. Dr. Yurkanim wanted to remove my right toe. I begged her to save it. She reattached my toe and put 8 pins into my big toe and into toe next to it. After one month of care at manercare nursing home my toe was saved. It is over a decade later and my balance and ability to get up on my feet and walk is mind settling. Yaakov
Had a wonderful appointment with Dr. Velez. Enjoyed her ability to have Comfortable communication with the patient. It was truly one of the most relaxed office visits i have had. Thank you Dr. Velez and staff!
