Absolutely perfect stopover for a night. Clean rooms, amazing showers and comfortable beds. Perfect rest mid-trip. Highly recommend.

This hotel and their managers are rubbish. We chose this hotel on a stop from our QLD-Mel holiday in 2026. I booked 1 night for a quick stop, $140... which was meant to be paid on arrival. I was charged $420.. seems I was scammed.. spoke to this place, they were aware of the scam.. apparently it happens often.. they clearly don't care because they get there money.
Do not book at Gundagai Gabriel Motor Inn. I booked through an online site under their guest reservations, thinking that it was directly linked to this place. I was under the impression that I would be charged when I arrived in January 2026. Not only did I get charged, but I was charged for 2 nights plus $140 US in taxes. When contacting the Motor Inn, I was made aware by the new manager (Yamani) that this had happened to another client recently.
