My truck had a broken water pump and a slipped belt. It had to be towed from SPI to Gabriel's in Port Isabel. This was on a Friday night and we were leaving on Sunday. He quickly received the parts and worked on my car. He had it ready by Saturday night (Sunday he was closed and offered to come in and complete the repair if he was unable to finish on Saturday). Gabriel is very honest and knowledgeable. We had issues with our a/c system driving to the beach. He was able to apply a quick fix and tell us what to expect over the coming days since we didn’t have the time to let him fix the entire system. We were able to have a/c for our beach weekend and make it back home without sweating. The place we took it to back home affirmed Gabriel’s diagnosis.

While leaving South Padre to go home our car broke down about 20 min off the island. I had it taken to Gabriel and he stayed after hours to get it fixed for us in the same day. I certainly appreciate his help, it’s hard to find people like Gabriel.
My air conditioning died while on vacation in South Padre Island. Before our 5 hr drive home, I stopped by to see if Gabriel could fix the problem. He checked simple things first, diagnosed the issue right away, showed me what occurred and how to prevent it, and even taught me how to change a part myself for the future. Not many mechanics have offered to teach me, but he DID. He's honest. Go with Gabriel.
