Family member was to have cancer surgery. However the hospital could not tell patient of her surgery time until the night prior to the surgery after 4pm. Very poor customer service. What about out of town family members who are coming to support the family? Most cancer centers are very supportive and want to make sure family members are able to support patient.
Camden Clark being the only hospital in parkersburg is the main reason we will not move back to the area. Patient care is the last thing this center is concerned with. I've heard horror story after horror story but after my mother had major surgery there I witnessed it first hand. Her stay on the 4th floor was beyond outrageous. everything from house keeping to the rude unresponsive nurses. After calling for help for over 45 minutes she was even put in the position to choose... remove her IV and take herself to the restroom ... read more
