Homestead Assisted Living of Overland Park did a great job of taking care of my late sister Lisa Lister. While no one wants to live in a "care facility", the staff and management here do there best to assure safety and comfort for the residents.
***update 9/24/2024*** I was terminated for my review. They had a manager having an open discussion about why a certain person has been removed from the schedule and was giving out information on people that had recently been terminated. . They were never punished for this behavior or investigated but I was suspended for having a conversation with the director about only having serious writeups and not every little thin. Amazing Service and very very kind staff.
Not a good place to work!! The director of nursing is super unprofessional. If you're new she will write you up for petty things including unimportant conversations you have with people . If you're new and an employee complains about they will believe them and write you up for it. If you report things that others are doing, they will blow you off and tell you to worry about yourself.
