The fire alarm goes off basically every week, sometimes daily. Sometimes the elevators are out for extended periods, and amenities such as the BBQ grill haven’t worked since 2024 when the building was under previous management.
2026 Update: Have now lived here three years, having moved in under previous owners / building (Gables). Overall has been a good experience... pretty quiet neighborhood and building. Rent goes up each year, usually 5-10%, which is frustrating, but I've experienced worse elsewhere, sadly. I've had a fair number of typical maintenance issues, but they are always very responsive, and Daniel is very helpful and friendly. Moved in two weeks ago. My partner lives here with his roommate, so take what I say with a grain of salt as I don't "officially" live here. 1. Staff is likable enough. It's a very small team that is responsible for this building. I don't think there's anyone here that can "officially" make decisions. 2. It's weird - sometimes the front gate to get to the patio gets locked. I have to walk to the front area of the building to get in. It's super frustrating. Building feels a bit old and outdated. Gym equipment shows it's age. Pricy for an older building compared to newer apartments in the area.
