Gave me a great quote on what work needed to be done on my car. Was very sympathetic and helpful. Too much wrong with the car to make it worth fixing, but I would not of known had it not been for his help and quote.
My 2002 Honda CR-V had a serious engine issue on and off for a few years - it goes into limp mode periodically. I took it to multiple mechanics in Vancouver, and nobody could fix it - spent a couple thousand dollars replacing various parts. The Honda dealership was useless and just wanted to sell me a new car. Just like the other reviews say, Gabe is the man! I am just travelling through CR and was having issues I needed to address before continuing on the road. No other shop in town could fit me in for days or weeks, but Gabe got me in almost right away. He is honest, great value, great work and awesome customer service, very friendly. Can't recommend and RAVE Gabe at V.I.P. Garage enough! Will be my go to mechanic from now on.
