Review DO NOT USE!! Find another contractor. This business is awful. If you aren’t sure about using this business, check with the local law firms and courts. They know Gabe Chiaro well. Along with poor work, Gabe never checks on his contractors. They hire out and do terrible work. At the end of the remodel, Gabe’s contractor never fixed the ceiling drywall cracks. I have been in business as Gabe’s Home Improvement for over 25 years in Springfield, IL. The local newspaper, The State Journal Register, has a contest called the Readers’ Choice Award. I am proud to say my company has won this award 11 years in a row. It’s a shame someone from Chicago would say such a lie. FACT: We did a beautiful job. After we left, he turned the heat to 50 degrees even though our employee had put a note on the thermostat to leave as is for a set amount of days.
