It has been an awesome experience observing the professional road crews that work for G.P.L.. They are respectable, friendly,and patient with the concerns of the people of North Providence. I would like to especially mention Ryan who surpassed all these mentioned attributes. My personal installation crew was managed by Kyle another professional, who represents G.P.L with excellence and a strong commitment to the success of the project.
A company that brings you in promises you everything. Make you feel like your part of the team. Some mgrs are great others are ignorant treat you like a piece of dirt. Laid off and promise to take you back on board. However they don't care about people that have to survive. You are left to loose everything waiting. No communication with any of the mgr about getting laid off or when you'll return to work. Sad to say this.
As of 9-1-2023, GPL equipment is blocking access to my parking lot, parking their equipment directly in front of the gate that I use daily to reach my car. They have seen me going through the gate several times, so they know the gate is in use. I don't need much, just about two feet, but the excavators sealed the gate off with piles of dirt and gravel-and their heavy equipment. The work is being done on Longworth Avenue in Middletown, CT. Shame on you or Eversource.
We live in Warwick, RI and have recently (and finally!) been slated to have our gas line replaced by Rhode IslandEnergy.Your company did the work and I must tell you, the crew was amazing! Very quick, very clean, very pleasant. You have some hard workers on that crew, not to mention the skid-steer operatorwho has taken running that machine to an art form!
