Stay away! Currently having a severe flare of UC and Dr agreed to Remicade treatment. I’ve had this treatment for years with another doctor that no longer has his private practice. This place has lied to me about insurance requirements only for me to call my insurance to find no one has asked for pre approval for remicade. It’s been close to two weeks now and my symptoms have worsened. I’m frightened and this place offers absolutely no solution. Stay away by all means!
Doctor seemed knowledgeable, staff was very pleasant and helpful. However, the well-meaning billing department is lacking. They calculated what my payment would be. I called back to inquire about insurance and was told my quoted fee was wrong. They calculated it again, by hand this time. Seriously? I paid what they said I would owe and they were wrong again ~ by almost $200.
