If I'm working around the area I get lunch at the hot food and a healthy salad. A fun and friendly place. The produce section is great.Ted does an outstanding job. G&G does much to enhance our community. We have been shopping here for over 40 years.
Yesterday the butcher in seafood in Petaluma sold me some very rotten crab. I asked him if it was fresh and he said it is previously frozen. I purchased it anyway, one crab plus 4 extra claws. When I got it home he hadn't even cleaned it who's is strange because they always do that there. Cracked open a couple claws and the whole crab. It was entirely ammonia stink! I like the fresh produce very much but have an exception with the meat department. I appreciate that G and G uses local producers but when I asked if your lamb was from Sonoma I was told no. Foster Farm chickens is another problem. Although it was not G and G, I had two recalls from Foster Farms chickens. The ones that I did buy from G and G lately were kind of unappetizing. This was my favorite market to shop for meat except today bought oax tail n knuckle bones for a soup for the family we are all coming down w a cold , when i opened the package the foulest smell ever... All i wanted was to get my $ back for my whole groceries i travel a long way just to shop there and im very disappointed in the meat and managers response.
