Do not purchase any GE appliance and think that you will get any assistance at all if it breaks. The extended warranty is a joke. It is a scam to take your money and then they make it virtually impossible to talk to a representative. It is an automated system and then when you finally miraculously are able to schedule a service call and actually believe the technician will show up, they DON’T show up and DON’T call and then have the nerve to say the next available appointment is another 10-15 days away. As promised I had my element before Christmas. Amazing part was he delivered it to my job on Christmas eve! Best service ever.
I called five, I repeat, five times to see if someone could come and service my broken washer. I was asked if I wanted to go on vacation to several places, if I wanted to go on a cruise, and if I wanted a $100 gift card. I was passed along automated system after automated system. Once I finally got to speak to a person, they forwarded me back to another automated system that would not give me the option to talk to another person.
