'Gregg' not only couldn't fix my leaking washer, but said even if he could GE's policy is not to do a repair if the serial number was missing. How do I know where the flip the serial number is? It's only ever been worked on by GE in the past, so go figure.
My GE fridge broke down, so I scheduled a repair with GE. I asked the call center operator for the technician to call me an hour in advance, because I work an hour away from home, so I have enough time to get there. Even though their policy is to call 30 mins in advance, she said 'no problem'. The technician of course called only 30 mins early, so we had to postpone the repair for Saturday.
