GE totally sucks. I’ve been trying to get a refrigerator repaired for months and they can’t find a service person anywhere to do the warranty repairs. Stay away from GE products
Very disappointing. Twice. The first visit was a year ago. Three hundred bucks and the problem was not repaired. Tried again this year. Another hundred dollars with the same disappointing results. Finally was able to diagnose the problem on my own. It has turned out to be an entirely different problem. I shut off the ice make and, voila, the leak stopped. Now it will probably be another few hundred to fix that problem. There doesn't seem to be any end to this ball of twine.
