My sentiments align with Valerie’s. This man refused to listen to me voice, he bypassed what we wanted despite being direct and explicit. Birthing a child to his hands felt like being disrespected. He had no consideration for me or my child. We both almost lost our lives because he refused to listen to me & pressured us into taking steps we didn’t want to take- or bypassing my expressed concerns all together. If I could give 0 stars I would. It’s taken me a long time to give this review because of the trauma I experienced in the hands of Aric Giddens. In 2020 My doctor was attending another birth and could not assist me so Giddens came in. I opted in to do an unmedicated birth and the labor went really well. The moment Giddens walked in the room when it was time to push problems began. I love Dr. Giddens. He has been taking care of me for a very long time. With every visit, he expresses concern and shows that he cares for me. His bedside manner as a person and doctor is more than extraordinary.
