I came in without an appointment because of an issue happening while I was driving back to Edmonton. They got me in pretty much right away, and took their time with me, and really helped me out. They told me I had misaligned eyes, and would require corrective lenses for this condition as this was the best way to solve the issue and I would have no issues moving forward. I approached wanting my first Albertan eye exam since moving here 2 years ago... I received an appointment 3 weeks in advance but I was told something I wanted to further research when I got home. I was told there was an additional $50 charge to seniors because "of government cuts to coverage from February 2025 and that all eye care companies in the area do this extra charge for full senior eye exams". I can’t speak more highly about this location. I came in without an appointment because of an issue happening while I was driving back to Edmonton. I can't say enough about FYI Strathmore, Dr. Duke and Julia, the young lady who takes care of the contact orders. After immediately fitting me in for an emergency check up, which led to emergency eye surgery, my vision has been continually changing. Both Dr. Duke and Julia have been so accommodating to my "special" needs. Julia really knows her stuff when it comes to contacts, greets you with a big smile and is always happy to listen and help.
