I recently visited FYI doctors in Fort Saskatchewan as I was experiencing large floaters in my left eye. After a thorough examination Dr Sara found a small tear which was the cause of the floaters and large black masses that I was experiencing. She was amazing at explaining everything that happened and immediately called the Alberta Retina Consultants to have an appointment made for me to laser the tear so it would not cause further damage to my eye. My kids and I had such a wonderful experience here. Mariana was so professional and gave a genuine comfort to the process. Having to work with 5 year olds can be tricky but she made my kids feel at ease. Recommend FYidoctors for all your eye concerns!
I went to this location as a walk-in. I had been experiencing some issues with my vision and my regular optometrist in Edmonton was unavailable. There happened to be a cancellation and I was able to see Dr. Van Spengen. I cannot say enough good things about her and the team at FYI. Dr. Van Spengen was extraordinarily thorough and professional, with an excellent bedside manner. She was able put my mind at ease, Honestly, I would give them a 10/5 if I could!
