I have been going to FYI doctors for my glasses for years. Had a recent appointment for my two year eye exam and got really great service. The doctor I saw was a different one than usual and she was very good. Answered all my questions and was very happy with all the easy to understand answers. All the doctors and everyone there are so polite and pleasant. I was disappointed to find out that I did not in fact need to get an eye exam as they are only required every 2 years and it has only been 1. So I find out after my appointment that I was not covered by either insurance. It was $140 I did not need to spend at a time where I’m about to be on limited income. It was avoidable and my previous optometrist would have been more mindful than to just take my money without asking further questions. Will not be returning or purchasing glasses there. I recently visited FYI Doctors in Sardis for an eye exam. It was a great experience from the moment I walked in to the time I left. Every person I encountered was pleasant, courteous, knowledgeable and very respectful. No one patronized me because I happen to be a senior. The appointment was on time and very efficient. Dr. Schmidt, the optician, explained his findings and gave me his recommendations.
