I had my 0.5 hp Gould pump let go that was bought at here back in 2003. Naturally, I called F. W. Webb so see if I get that pump again. They said, yes we have it in stock. I said great, I'll be down to pick it up. The reply was, no, we cannot sell the pump to you unless you are in the pump repair business. I responded with surprise emphasizing that I was without water on a cold winter day, and questioned in disbelief that they were refusing the sale.
