Sean, the owner took great care of me. My vehicle wouldn't start in a Friday evening. I had AAA tow me to his shop in Newark. When I arrived, he quoted me a reasonable diagnostic and stated that he would diagnose it on Saturday and call me. He was also gracious enough to give me a ride on a Friday, after he got off work, to a nearby hotel. Bought Groupon for brake pad replacement. Made a 1:30 appointment. They confirmed appointment. 2:30 they went out and took a quick look at my brakes and then came back with the quote for 600. That quote included the brake pad replacement that I already had a Groupon for. $600 is an insane quote for rotor and brake pad replacement, they demanded to replace both rotors even though only one rotor had metal on metal grinding. Dishonest sales tactics and false advertising on oil change. I purchased a full synthetic oil change, made an appointment, and showed up on time. When I got to the shop, they told me that there will be additional $100 because my car is European on top of what I had already paid. They said the filter is expensive, it's a special oil, etc etc. The filter is $8 at autozone, and Mobil 1 5w30 is not premium or special oil. For 5 qt, it's less than $20.
