the butter chicken they serve is actually phenomenal.
We got to bring our dog on the outdoor patio and sit under the shade of a tree. Food was quick and delicious. Food was nicely spiced. Great assortment of menu items. We had a Walnut salad, fish pakoras and loaded Nachos - a fusion of flavors shared between the two of us.
I ordered the Cajun chicken and mashers, paid $22 and was pleasantly disappointed with the child sized serving. The garlic mashers were all garlic, I may as well have eaten a garlic clove or 2 instead of potatoes. My bf ordered the Ashcroft burger, presentation was very good, decent size too, but very plain and flavourless. We also ordered the layered chocolate cake, it was actually pretty good and was the saving grace to our rather disappointing meal. All in all I probably wont be going again.
We popped in inquiring if there was a sandwich shop in town for lunch. They told us they served sandwiches on the menu. I ordered a clubhouse with a side garden salad instead of fries. One grandson had grilled cheese and the other had cheese pizza. What I recieved was 2 piece of cheap toasted bread, 1 piece of bacon, 1 slice of tomato and the smallest piece of lettuce along with 2 slices of deli turkey meat. The salad was a caesar. We ordered butter funny ear with nan and rice, which was tasty.However the mashed eggplant was not good at all. The portions were very small. The ambients of the restaurant is mediocre. The service was alright, and the food presentation was not good. Either overall experience was just below average
