We were very happy with the service we received when purchasing our furniture. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the buying experience a positive one. Unfortunately, our experience after delivery has been extremely disappointing. Within just a few weeks of receiving our couch and chairs, we noticed significant wear. Unfortunately, out latest experience with Furniture World has not been great. We paid nearly $6000 for a couch that ripped weeks later. While we understand that things like this happen, the timeline and follow-through of the repair was extremely frustrating to deal with. It is still not resolved! We were given mixed messages and had to wait for months to get replacement casings and fabrics in. It wasn't until WE sent follow up emails that finally some communication came through. Spent $3,800 on a kitchen and table and chairs less than 3 years ago. The paint has failed on one and needs to be refinished. The chair was in storage, so it wasn’t use/abuse. Clearly a manufacturing defect. Spoke to furniture world. Was told that since I’m outside the warranty period (by all of 6 months…) that I was on my own. Really? A $3,800 kitchen table set isn’t expected to last even 3 years? Way to stand behind your product… Save your money. Go somewhere else.
