Good Quality, Good Prices We like Furniture Fair because of the great salespeople who let you shop in peace without breathing down your neck. They have good prices especially during their sales. We got a great mattress set and couldn't be happier with the quality and price. They even included delivery! We would definitely recommend them!
Not as great to me Everytime we have been in this store they "claim" to have a big sale but the merchandise is always the same price as when we come in on non-sale days..that really annoys me. Also the slaes people are like a bunch of vultures running to the door and following us around even when we say we are just looking. I really don't like that! PROS: great selection CONS: to much pressure to buy something from the sales people
Large selection In a town full of "discount furniture," Furniture Fair probably has the best stuff and a large selection to choose from. My husband and I purchased our bedroom furniture from Furniture Fair and have never had any problems either with the sale, the delivery or the furniture. And I still like it ias much as I did when we brought it home! PROS: Can usually get deferred financing CONS:
bad service We purchased an entire living room from Furniture Fair in February of 2005. By May the cocktail table was peeling!! The service man came and said he'd need to replace the table tops. Three and a half months later, they called to say the new tops were there at the store. They will need to come take my tables and will get them back to me when they are done. An Actual Employee All I got to say is try working for this darn company.... They treat you like a piece of crap...they don't care about you, all they think about is the $$$$$... which is fine and normal although, their employees are the ones who got them there in the first place. RIP-OFF!!!!!!!!!! They have to CHEAPEST crap Ive ever seen. We spent 2000 on a new sectional only to have the recliner break a month later, its now been 2 months since they "fixed" it and its broken again. The same issue is wrong with it. I will NEVER EVER EVER shop here again. This place is a rip-off!!!!!!
Good but... They were very hard to try to make deals with- very much "This is the price." ppl. I did find a great selection, mid line prices, and very fast to approve, but not fast to negoiate on the interest rate. The interest rate was why I chose to flat out buy rather than finanance.
DISHONEST BUSINESS! BEWARE BUYER BEWARE!!!!! 1. They talk military and low-income families into financing furniture and appliances thru IN-HOUSE FINANCE where they over charge for the merchandise and stick $200-$300 warranties on the contract. The customer thinks that they have to purchase the warranty in order to get financed. Then the interest rates are so high that the customer would have spent less at a rent-to-own place! dishonest! We were looking for sofa and love seat. We went to many stores and found the one we loved at Furniture Fair. We decided to wait and make sure we were getting a good deal on it, even though it said 50% off!!! I happened to look on their website and the same sofa was marked $899, but it wasn't on sale and you couldn't get the sale on-line. They had it marked at $1300 in the store with 50% off.
