Likely out of the norm for them, but these angels helped me with an injured squirrel today. My heart hurts for suffering animals, even just a squirrel. The staff was so incredibly kind and compassionate, if I lived closer I’d 100% bring my pets here. If they care so much about this little guy then I imagine they treat our pets just the same. Even if you weren’t able to save this sweet baby, I truly appreciate your kindness and time and I’m sure he did too
Not a good place for cats. They seem to be the lowest priority. Every time I've gone there I've had to wait many hours (4 - 6.5 hrs) even though I had an appointment. If dogs from the rescue group next door need treatment , other patients must wait for them to be treated. Also, they kept my cat in a cage in a backroom (with dogs in the same room) for over 3 hrs and refused to let me see him! They are the kindest and best vet around. We needed them while staying in Florida and they went above and beyond for us getting all records sent to our vet back in WV. I live that they are available on weekends . Back here if your pets gets sick or injured there aren’t any vets open in Saturday and Sunday. You have to drive over 1 hour to an Emergency. Et which could be crucial and also very expensive.
They are the best in Arcadia. I may be partial but they all very compassionate. The. Pets all get the best care.
I live in the Arcadia FL area for 6 years and this was one of two places I took my dog Hercules for vet visits. Fur-Ever Friends is fantastic. Great Vet with great staff . They saved my dog once from a nasty pancreatitis infection despite me coming in as an "emergency". There is an emergency charge because they are appointment based, however, for quick in and outs such as a rabies booster it's still best to call ahead. They will work with you.
