Took my dog here back in January because he was throwing up a lot and not eating right. They ran blood work and said it could be many reasons why he is behaving this way. I walked in knowing i would pay a lot for the blood work/exam, but wasn't prepared for the $300 they charged me after telling me NOTHING about what could be wrong with my dog. I'm trying to find the reason why my Daisey Mae passed on July 17 2016 after a misdiagnosed of a uti brought her home with antibiotics for 2days she worsened took her back and it could either her immune sys. or a maybe a uterine infection kept her four days no more blood work I and doesn't have any clue as to why my precious girl is gone! Maybe they knew i am a person of limited resources I guess that me not. having alot of money to them was measured as not enough for Daisey's Life!!!
On Friday night around 10:30 PM our dog was lethargic and felt hot. Furbuds is supposed to be an afterhours emergency vet clinic so we rush our dog over there and were happy to see the ‘OPEN’ sign on. The place looked dark inside and we knocked and knocked. Receptionist was courteous and helpful. They were very busy when we went in and it was almost forty five minutes before our dog was seen by a tech. So far so good. We explained that our Yorkie had acted like she had a seizure after coming in the house after having run outside in the heat. They took her blood. Then the vet told us her blood platelet count was low and the blood did not coagulate when they took the blood. took my dog here for overnight treatment as recommended by his regular vet, upon arrival the vet grabs the dog from me and I told her to be careful and she just said he would be alright and acted like it was a problem, went to the desk and they were very negative and said they already lost a couple dogs this week and they showed no compassion or emotion at all , they just act like zombies, only needed to be sedated to calm down and given medication . have talked to a couple other vets since and they said he should never hav... read more
I wish I didn't even have to give them one star. Fur buds is one of the worst clinics I have been to. They are greedy, Uncompassionate people who can't even write a simple phone number correctly. We brought our cat in to utilize their cremation services after he passed away. After a week I called to check to see if his ashes had come back and I was put on hold for several minutes then hung up on. These people are the most selfish, rudest people I have ever met. They only care about the money, and they need to fire that rude receptionist they have. If it was me I would not want someone with her attitude representing my business.
The vets are great! They always do everything they can for our fur baby but the receptionist is the rudest person. She talks down to me and acts like I am a huge inconvenience to her. This is the second time I have been treated this way by the same woman. If the the vets there weren't as great as they are then I would not go here strictly because of the woman at the front. She has a terrible attitude. Other than her I love this place! They always take great care of my baby.
