Thanks to @funtastik_skatensnow in York for hooking us up! Waylon got his birthday gift tonight, a little over a week before he actually turns 7 (7?!?). He chose a Birdhouse Shawn Hale Silver Bullet deck. I gifted myself a new deck as well. I've always wanted a Girl skateboard, and I found the perfect one, an Andrew Brophy Beetle Redux deck (she's so pretty)! My husband and I went to the Mechanicsburg location to get a gift for our son. Matt was thorough and patient in answering all of our questions. He went above and beyond and even stayed late to put the board together. Our experience was amazing because of the time he invested in us. I recommend everything. Staff are great and friendly. I can’t skate to save my life but the people I know who do swear this place is a gem.

Friendly, personable staff. Great selection for shoes and boots (what I bought both times I’ve gone), and seems to have lots else besides. Competitive prices vs. big box places and online, and way more comfortable for me to shop locally. Glad to see a shop still kickin’, and I’ll def. be back.
When I walked in this store I was helped with exactly what I needed for my son and I to start skateboarding that same day. I love this place!!
I have spent the last couple of years going to ski shops for snowboard equipment and service. Today I stopped in to Funtastik to purchase bindings and there was a clear difference in how much the staff knew and cared to explain in detail. The owner and staff were so knowledgeable on everything snowboards...makes me wish I would have stopped in years ago. I will definitely be shopping Funtastik for future needs.
