Yes, Funky. Delicious, Definitely! Started with a quirky amuse bouche of spicy black bean dip served with a mini terra cotta flower pot of carrot and celery sticks. Um, we get the funky bit, m'kay? For the first course , I had the lobster potato cake and my partner had the mozarella. He ate half of my cake. Apps were really delicious and perfectly seasoned and proportioned. Funky Lil' Kitchen always pleases! I have never been disappointed by a meal here. I always have a full 3 course meal and each component leaves me happy and wanting more. They are a byo and this summer when I brought the mixings for Pimms Cups they didn't bat a eye and asked if we need and special glasses or soda to go with it.
Never disappoints! I have visited this restaurant twice and have not been disappointed. The menu changes frequently and the hardest part about dining here is making a choice because it all sounds wonderful. I was pleased to see on my last visit they were featuring food from a local farm. Both times I have visited my group was the last in the restaurant and we were never made to feel we needed to leave.
