Everybody please share this post because I do not want anyone else to have their vehicle destroyed or to be threatened with a lead pipe for trying to resolve a problem . Stay away from Funkhouser's Tires, Batteries & Things on 441 in Alachua. We took our 1997 Honda Civic up there to have the transmission oil changed and they put the wrong transmission fluid in and destroyed the transmission. Though we told them many times that it was a 97, the gentleman mechanic wrote it up as a 93. He also had the VIN number which proved it... read more
The owner was rude and disrespectful. He screamed and yelled at me when I came in to get a refund on parts that I did not use.
I’ll never bring my car anywhere else. Everyone is very knowledgeable at Funkhousers and prices are great. They always take great care of my car.
