PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS "DOCTOR". Would give 0 stars if I could. Horrible Dr and horrible bedside manner. Went in for my glucose test and he saw my weight was up and told me to "lay off the junk food". I told him I do yoga 4x a week and only eat organic, no fast food, and he laughed at me. Immediately scheduled with another Dr - turns out I had preeclampsia and had to get induced early. If I were to continue my prenatal care with him who knows if I would have been here today to tell the story.
Review for Dr. Funk - OB/GYN I cannot recommend Dr. Funk after my recent appointment for menopause-related weight gain and health concerns. When I explained my rapid weight gain (65 pounds), high cholesterol (321), fatty liver, and prediabetes, he simply shrugged his shoulders without offering any meaningful advice, testing, or treatment options. Do not see Dr funk if you are pregnant. Extremely unprofessional, did not wear gloves during 38 week cervical exam and his exam is too rough and painful compared to the other doctors only for him to say he couldn’t find my cervix nor give me any updates (The week prior with a different doctor they had no issues finding my cervix telling me how dilated and effaced I was and nothing more than the normal pressure pain) save yourself the headache and make your appointments with McKelvey or McComsey.
