I so badly wanted to love these donuts. The artistry is obviously 10/10 for decor, but the donuts themselves were disappointing. Very heavy and dry, almost like underbaked bread dough. Most of the glazes did not taste great either, especially Winnie’s with too much cinnamon extract and not enough apple filling inside. Binx had a good chocolate ganache, but otherwise, these were a letdown.

I wanted to love these donuts as I pre ordered them and was very excited. However, I ended up being extremely disappointed in the quality of these donuts. They were heavy, greasy, and stale. Unfortunately it did feel as though it was money wasted.

Hocus Pocus Pre Order: Honestly the worst donuts we’ve ever had. SO heavy. Fried donuts are supposed to be relatively light, every single one of these is a brick of dry fried dough, even the ones without filling. We tried all of them but then threw most of them away and considering the price that’s a shame. Waste of a $50 breakfast opportunity in Salem.

Such fun donuts! Pre-ordered the Hocus Pocus donuts and they did not disappoint. They were beautifully designed and tasted delish! I can't wait for the next time we go to Salem to get them again.

Beautiful and Amazing tasting donuts from such a talented artist and great people
