Just completed Balance and Symmetry with Harj. Working with Harj one on one even in a group setting, he pays attention to form and helps people make adjustments so they get the most out of the workout. The sessions have a great energy, and it’s motivating training with a group while still feeling supported
Excellent new facility and even better practitioners. I was in Brisbane for a short 2-month turnaround and started training weekly with Skye during that time frame. Skye was enthusiastic and thoroughly prepared - she made our sessions not only highly informative but so fun! I’ve been training at Function Patterns since April last year after knee surgeries and ongoing knee and neck pain, along with strength and posture issues. Working with Sam has helped a lot! I noticed differences within weeks of starting. The functional/biomechanics focused approach is practical, specific, and tailored to how I move. My pain has improved, my strength is more balanced, and my posture is noticeably better. If you want training that actually fixes root problems, I’d recommend Sam and Function Patterns.
The 6 weeks bells & bands course was a fantastic introduction into the FP philosophy and for me personally truly transformative in understanding my body more and making small changes to feel stronger, move better, and feel happier in myself. The class size is perfect, you have the support of other ladies and Keriann is a wonderful instructor!! The class was a highlight of my week!
