This was our first time renting jet skis. Colin was very knowledgeable and explained everything well. He even gave us an upgrade to the See Doo! We had a great time!
I had a really frustrating experience with Fun in the Sun Rentals. The owner, Phil, was extremely rude and unprofessional from the start. What bothered me most is that my deposit was charged to my card without any clear explanation or communication. When I tried to get answers, I was met with attitude instead of help. BEWARE: Jet Ski Rental Scam Do NOT rent from this place. The entire operation feels shady from the start. Before our session, employees were horsing around on the jet skis in the no-wake zone and riding them roughly. Staff were unfriendly and the overall vibe was off. They warned us not to go near the shore due to possible rock and sand damage, so we were extremely cautious and stayed well over 100 feet away at all times. Worst rental company I’ve been to. They aren’t very friendly and inviting. Seems like is family owned and ran. Prices to rent jet skis are higher than advertised outside on the sign. Employees were horsing around on our reserved jet skis rentals right before we rented them and then charged us an additional $1250 “service fee” post returning our rentals but couldn’t tell us why or what happened to the jet skis.
