Phones do not transfer according to the prompts. It's just in a loop. Repeat calls go to the vehicle dept and are unanswered. Where's the property tax division?
They deliberately make it difficult for applicants to appeal property tax assessments, even when all proof/evidence is provided. Applicants are still required to attend unnecessary in-person Board of Equalization meetings, wasting their time and money. The true intent seems to be to pressure people into accepting unfairly inflated property valuations.
This is the best DMV anywhere. Every time I've had business there, they are courteous, efficient, quick. Today there was no wait and I registered my car in about 10 minutes. Nicely done!
The customer service in the tag office is terrible!!!!! I came in @9:10 am. The staff was Talking about other customers and co workers out loud. Talking to customers like their special ed. ( calling people slow ) Insane , Danielle and Tatianna to be exact. And this is exactly why I would travel all the way to Covington tag office and use my other property address. City of Atlanta do better.
